• Sized
to replace your existing old patio sliding door, or for new
construction. Garden or French style patio door systems provide you
with the insulating qualities and security of a steel entry door
system, with the elegance and practicality of the many possible
designs of glass available.
• Doors
are hinged at the outer ends with a central "astragal"
(sealing member) which, attached to one of the hinged doors, will
swing in with the door, allowing a fully unobstructed double size entry,
if needed for moving furniture or the like, in or out of the house.
• Most
commonly, the doors are "inswinging". Optionally, we can
build these to swing outwards if your needs require this function.
• Steel
insulated doors are prehung into 4 5/8" or 6 5/8" jambs,
made of paint grade pine. Frames may be optionally vinyl-clad for a
maintenance-free exterior.
• "New
Construction" sizes (excepting 28" doors) are also
available in Fiberglass, with optional stainable composite
frames. See chart below for size options.
• There
is a huge array of glass types and designs which will fit these doors,
